An electret condenser microphone includes: a substrate13in which an opening25is formed; an electret condenser50connected to one face of the substrate13so as to close the opening25and having an acoustic hole12and a cavity2;a drive circuit element15connected to the one face of the substrate13;and a case17mounted over the substrate13so as to cover the electret condenser50and the drive circuit element15.Electric contact is established at a joint part between the electret condenser50and the substrate13.The acoustic hole12communicates with an external space through the opening25.The cavity2and an internal region of the case17serve as a back air chamber for the electret condenser50.
