ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to elastase inhibitors from bovine serum identified herein as BI-I-E and BI-I-E.sup.+. Said inhibitors are peptides of the specified amino acid sequence defined herein and they are useful, inter alia, for the treatment of shock, rheumatoid arthritis or pulmonary emphysemia.
