ABSTRACT:
There is provided an EL device sealing plate for which a drop in transparency is suppressed. An organic EL device200is comprised of a substrate10, an organic EL layered body20that is formed on the substrate10, and a sealing plate30that has been formed into a recessed shape so as to cover the organic EL layered body20. The sealing plate30exhibits a parallel transmittance of not less than 91.5% and a haze of not more than 0.5%.
