ABSTRACT:
In one embodiment the present invention is a Flexible Connector Assemblies (FCA)6that comprises top and bottom plates connected by Flexible Connectors (FC)8and provides a compliant electrical joint between the first terminal lead2and the second terminal lead4. These terminal leads2and4are connected to the top and bottom plates eccentrically in such a way that the total current16through the FCA is more evenly distributed among the FC8than when the leads are centered on their respective plates. This improvement in uniformity reduces the maximum current carried by any one FC, which substantially extends the operating life of the component.
