A dwelling eaves vent apparatus having a diameter-increasing passageway component to compensate for the impediment to flow unavoidably caused by a screen over the outlet to atmosphere of the component, and wherein the component is characterized by being embodied with a conical shape which maintains directional guidance to discharging air/gas content to thereby contribute to obviating turbulence during discharge through the screen.
