ABSTRACT:
A nut-like member especially adapted for use with an earring clip in which a threaded screw provides wearing adjustment. The member includes a U-shaped loop through which circular smooth bore openings are disposed in longitudinal alignment. Each opening has a pinched and reformed chordal flat which engages the screw to give thread-like engagement without the expense of providing threaded openings.
