ABSTRACT:
An energy absorption (EA) member is provided with a clip, and a structure for securing the EA member. A clip20has a flange21, a shaft22projecting from the flange21, an anchor23spreading from an end of the shaft22, a cut24provided in the anchor23, and a locking section30projecting from the flange21on a side opposite the shaft22. The locking section30has a cylindrical upright segment31standing upright from the flange21, and a resilient locking piece32projecting laterally from the side surface of the upright segment31. The EA member1is put on metal panel2A or2B while the clip20is inserted into a hole4provided in the metal panel2A or2B. A projecting point40is passed through the hole4, to hold the EA member1to the metal panel.
