A process for dyeing cellulose fibres or cellulose-containing blend fibres with vat dyes, sulfur dyes, leuco vat ester dyes or azoic dyes by the pad dyeing process without incurring ending, in which an aqueous dyeing liquor is used which, aside from the dye, contains a colorless compound of the formula ##STR1## or of the formula ##STR2## where Q is ##STR3## or .dbd.N--, Y is hydrogen, halogen, cyano, C.sub.1 -C.sub.5 alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.5 alkylsulfonyl,
