ABSTRACT:
The present invention is directed to a photoinitiator complex having the formula (I): ##STR1## wherein D+ is a cationic dye moiety; R.sup.1 is a benzyl or substituted benzyl group; and R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are aryl or substituted aryl groups, wherein said photoinitiator is capable of absorbing actinic radiation and producing free radicals.
