ABSTRACT:
An apparatus for inserting a leg of an L-shaped corner member into the channel of an elongated flange member used in an assembly for connecting the adjacent ends of rectangular sheet metal ducts. The apparatus, in a preferred form, comprises a base member that is adapted to receive a flange member in a receiving position. A corner positioning member is attached to the base member and is adapted to position a leg of a corner member in confronting relationship with the channel of the flange member. Insertion apparatus is attached to the positioning member for selectively inserting the positioned leg into the channel of a flange member a predetermined distance.
