ABSTRACT:
An improved drywall tape is comprised of an elongated ribbon of porous paper tranversely corrugated throughout its length and having a fexible, elongated plastic bead secured to the ribbon of paper and extending longitudinally along the length of the paper. The plastic bead provides a distinct, protected corner to finished drywall, and the corrugations in the tape strengthen the tape to make it stiffer and harder when it dries and easier to work with during installation.
