A drying mold1for a pulp molded article has a first mold member10, a second mold member20, and a third mold member30. The first mold member10has a drying portion12and first passageways13aand13bconnecting the drying portion12to an exterior surface of the first mold member10. The second mold member20has a prescribed heating means and is disposed in contact with the exterior surface of the third mold member30. The third mold member30is disposed in contact with the exterior surface of the first mold member10. The drying mold1is designed to form second passageways2aand2bbetween the first and the third mold members when the first and the third mold members are disposed in contact with each other. The passageways2aand2bconnect the first passageways13aand13bto the outside of the drying mold1.
