ABSTRACT:
The present invention provides a composition for preventing or treating diseases accompanied by a decrease in bone weight, hypertension and diseases resulting from hypertension, the composition containing, as an active component, at least one member selected from the a compound represented by formula (I)wherein A and B are the same or different and are independently selected from the group consisting of halogen, amino, amidino, anilinoamide, mercapto, sulfonic acid, phosphate, carboxy, hydroxy C1–C5alkyl, sugar residue, —OR1, and —OCOR2; wherein R1is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, C1–C5alkyl, hydroxy C1–C5alkyl, and C2–C5alkenyl; and R2is selected from the group consisting of C1–C5alkyl, hydroxy C1–C5alkyl, and C2–C5alkenyl; n is number of substituents A present and is a number from 0 to 5; and m is number of substituents B present and is a number from 0 to 5.
