ABSTRACT:
An implantable drug administration device can be non-invasively programmed to change both the dosage amount and the dosage interval. Verification of received dosage and interval commands is being achieved by means of an audio transducer which is attached to the device case. Application of a magnet or a programmer to the device inhibits drug delivery.
