ABSTRACT:
A driving apparatus for a display wherein an m-bit data driver integrated circuit is used to drive n-bit data. The apparatus includes a timing controller arranged to supply n-bit data, and a plurality of m-bit data integrated circuits having a predetermined value for two least significant bits, wherein the m-bit data driver integrated circuits output the n-bit data from the timing controller as video signals having 2ngray levels.
