ABSTRACT:
A fitted sheet with draw string sewn in a hem on the peripheral edges. The edges are fashioned so that the final shape of the hem, when the sheet is installed on the mattress is not parallel to the edges of the mattress and forms a curve resembling an ellipse beneath the mattress providing for the enhanced distribution of the tension substantially throughout and across the sheet face.
