ABSTRACT:
The drag adjusting device is provided with a pin member70arranged on a plate-like member80of a reel unit1such that it can be attached to and detached and such that its position can be changed. The pin member70serves to remember a prescribed pivot position of a drag mechanism operating member2. When an angler finds an optimum drag lever position, the angler installs the pin member70in a mounting recess81corresponding to the optimum drag lever position. In this way, the angler can easily set the drag mechanism operating member2to the optimum drag lever position without having to remember the drag lever position.
