ABSTRACT:
NTSC color composite signals are sampled at any frequency f.sub.s, which is a rational multiple of the color subcarrier frequency, and the phase relationship between samples of adjacent lines can be adjusted in increments smaller than the sampling period so that the distance between corresponding samples in adjacent lines is minimized.
