ABSTRACT:
A 60 to 100% coverage of downhole casing condition is obtainable by the improved system comprising, a sufficient number of piezoelectric transducers 1/4 inch in diameter about a probe head, preferably, 40 or more and usually 60-120 piezoelectric transducers located in a housing coupled to an electronic package also in a suitable downhole housing. The system reports all exceptional data and certain selected regular or non-exceptional data, displaying it topside and establishing a permanent record using existing wire line facilities.
