A solid door for a dwelling, the door combining the features of security, ventilation and insect protection.
The door has an aperture covered by a security grill and an insect screen.
A sliding panel is fitted to the side of the door facing the interior of the dwelling so that the panel can close the aperture, or be opened to allow ventilation while still maintaining security and the exclusion of insects from the building.
