ABSTRACT:
A door handle mechanism comprising a handle having a spigot journalled in an opening in an attachment plate, the spigot having a circular section bore therein, means for limiting angular movement of the handle with respect to the attachment plate, spring means arranged to oppose angular movement of the handle in one direction, and a cam plate retaining the spigot in the attachment plate at least in part defining a hole shaped to non-rotatably engage with a non-circular section spindle.
