ABSTRACT:
A document transfer device for transferring a document to a document stop reference position includes a supply port disposed on an end of the contact glass; the first supply path for guiding the document supplying through the supply port to a downstream side along the contact glass; a contact glass cover forming the first supply path together with the contact glass and covering a part of the contact glass; and the second supply path joining the first supply path near a downstream side of the contact glass cover. The transfer device transfers the document from the first supply path or the second supply path to the document stop reference position.
