ABSTRACT:
A manual document handling system for use in processing and handling documents in offices and the like including a support panel on which specially designed trays are hung. The support panel is of a modular design including horizontal slats, the number of which varies in accordance with the height of the panel desired and the number and sizes of the trays to be mounted thereon. A unique support for the slats is provided to easily assemble the support panel. The trays are of a special shape for easy insertion, storing and retrival of the documents in an orderly fashion, and accessories therefor make the trays adaptable for identification of the documents and the accommodating of different sizes and shapes of documents.
