ABSTRACT:
The present invention has for its object to provide a DNA sequence capable of regulating the expression of a desired gene specifically in the fruit of a plant, a plasmid containing that DNA sequence as well as a plant cell, plant body and microorganism transformed with the plasmid. One aspect of the present invention is constituted by a fruit-specific expression-regulating unit DNA sequence which comprises a region comprising the base sequence shown under SEQ ID NO:1.
