ABSTRACT:
A divider barrier1for roadway delineation includes detachably juxtaposed divider members2, 3, 4. The divider members have each a housing-like base body5which can be placed on the ground and has slanted roof-shaped lateral collision plates6, 7. Connected to the lower longitudinal edges10of the collision plates6, 7are support plates11, 12which extend from the base body5outwards. A guide bar15is provided above the base body5at a vertical distance thereto. Connecting means18–21are provided to detachably couple successive divider members2, 3, 4with one another. The support plates11, 12of two successive divider members2, 3, 4are detachably connected to one another by means of fishplates35on the underside, wherein each fishplate35is hereby fixed with its first end portion36under the support plate11of the one divider member2, 3, 4and with its second end portion 37 under the support plate12of the following second divider member2, 3, 4. Each of the first end portion11as well as the second end portion12of each fishplate35has a receiving opening40for engagement of a pin41constructed of round configuration and secured under each of the support plates11, 12. As a consequence of these pins41, the divider barrier1is stiffened against lateral displacement.
