ABSTRACT:
A disposable diaper1includes a topsheet2, a backsheet3, and an absorbent member4between the sheets2and3. A pair of leg flaps5each having an elastic member is provided along the laterally opposite side edges of the absorbent member4. Each of the leg flaps5is fixed at its front end portion52and rear end portion53to a portion C, one of longitudinally opposite end portions of the diaper, and to a portion B, the other end portion, in such a configuration that each of the leg flaps5may be folded back over the side of the backsheet3when the disposable diaper1is in a flat-out state with the elastic members stretched.
