ABSTRACT:
To provide an active matrix type display device which can be manufactured by an easier method than before.A display device100has a plurality of first electrodes11, a plurality of bidirectional two-terminal elements12, a plurality of picture electrodes14electrically connected to any one of the plurality of first electrodes11via at least one of the plurality of bidirectional two-terminal elements12respectively, a plurality of second electrodes17, and a display medium layer provided between the plurality of picture electrodes14and the plurality of second electrodes17. A layout relationship between each of the plurality of picture electrodes14and said at least one of the bidirectional two-terminal elements12is random.
