ABSTRACT:
Disclosed are disperse dyes for the dyeing of synthetic fibers such as cellulose acetate, triacetate, polyamide, and especially polyester and its blends, which have the general formula ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 is selected from hydrogen, aryl, cyclohexyl, lower alkyl and lower alkyl substituted by Cl, CN, OC.sub.2 H.sub.4 OC.sub.2 H.sub.5, ##STR2## lower alkoxy, aryl, NHCONHPh, OCONHPh, phthalimido, succinimido, or aryloxy, which aryloxy may be substituted by one or more of Cl, Br, NO.sub.2, CN, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, aryl and aryloxy; R.sub.2 is phenyl or phenyl substituted with 1-3 of lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, ##STR3## --CN, --Cl or --NO.sub.2 ; R.sub.3 is H, Cl, lower alkyl or lower alkoxy; R.sub.1 and R.sub.3 may form a 5 or 6 membered ring preferably substituted by 1-3 methyl groups; R.sub.4 is H, Cl, lower alkyl or lower alkoxy; R.sub.5 is selected from 3-pyridyl, 3-benzisothiazolyl, 2-benzothiazolyl, 2-benzoxazolyl, 2-quinoxalyl, 2-quinazolinonyl, 2-1,3,4-oxadiazolyl, 2-1,3,4-thiadiazolyl and 2-thienyl, which R.sub.5 heterocycles may be substituted by Cl, Br, NO.sub.2, CN, aryl, aryl substituted by Cl, Br, NO.sub.2 or CN, lower alkyl or COOR.sub.6 wherein R.sub.6 is lower alkyl or aryl; and n is 1-4.
