ABSTRACT:
A two piece dispensing closure for a container with a dispensing orifice in the front section and an elevated rear land that has a pivot recess adapted to receive a separate lid with a recess or groove which enables the lid to be rotated to about 150.degree. from the closed position. The front section of the lid is generally circular with a pivot post at its rear. A chamfered elevated land which saves plastic material and is easier to mold, is also disclosed.
