To prevent accidental discharge from a cartridge, a dispenser for the dental viscous material comprises a guide shaft1having a cylindrical part1baat a front end thereof, a guide member1bhaving a large diameter part1bbaand a small diameter part1bbbon the rear side of the cylindrical part1ba, and a knob for rotating the guide shaft1hat a rear end, a slide block2having a release plate2c, and piston shafts2b, a housing3having pressing springs3ea, which press piston shafts2b, and a lever main body4having a lever part4arotatable by a predetermined angle from a position in parallel to the housing3and a pressing piece4bprojected under the front side of the lever part4a, to constitute a mechanism of switching of discharge state and discharge release state.
