ABSTRACT:
A disk player having a means to dissipate the resonance energy that may adversely affect the disk player. The disk player comprises a holding member holding an objective lens and a servo drive mechanism for driving the objective lens, each of which are movably supported by a pair of guide members. At least one weight is bonded through a vibration absorbing member to the holding member, so that the internal loss of the vibration absorbing member dissipates the energy which otherwise may cause resonance of the holding member.
