ABSTRACT:
A disk mill having an extended, axially-projecting control arm, for fixing the angular position of the axis of one of the grinding disks of the mill, the free end portion of the control arm engaging a rotary bearing whose position is fixed but adjustable by means of an arrangement comprising a retaining member which has at least a restricted angular movement about a third axis at right angles to the axis of the first grinding disk and which has a translatory movement in a direction parallel to said third axis, the retaining member being connected to the rotary bearing, and a double-acting fluid pressure actuator connected to the retaining member for moving the retaining member in a direction parallel to said third axis.
