ABSTRACT:
The present invention is directed to a disk drive apparatus in which a disk tray travels forward or backward in a chassis casing to load or unload the disk tray. The chassis casing is constructed with a base chassis1and/or cover chassis2having openings located in alignment corresponding to the vertical peaks of the disk tray as the disk tray travels through the chassis casing with thin portions provided at the front end of the openings to enclose the openings.
