ABSTRACT:
Engaging grooves8eextending in the cylinder axial direction and circumferential grooves8fformed in a cylinder axial direction middle portion of the engaging grooves8are formed on a bottom side of a cylinder hole8. Engaging rib12bengaging with the engaging groove8eand engaging rib16dwhich engages with the engaging groove8eand fits to the circumferential groove8fare formed on a fixed side cam plate12and a housing, respectively. A bleeder hole8gwhich penetrates communicates with the engaging grooves8eand circumferential grooves8fof the cylinder hole8is drilled in a caliper body2. Communication holes16hwhich allow communication between the inside and outside of the housing16is formed at a bottom side of the cylinder hole8rather than the engaging rib16fof the housing.
