ABSTRACT:
Provided are a tray2for mounting a cartridge101that houses a disk and has an aperture for exposing an information layer and a shutter101afor opening/closing the aperture, a conveyor for conveying the tray2, an opener13having an engaging member and opening/closing the shutter101a, and guiding members14, 15, 16arranged to engage with the opener13and interlocked with a conveyance operation of the tray2so that engagement position with an engaging member of the opener13changes, wherein the guiding members14, 15, 16are arranged opposing the face for mounting the cartridge101. Thereby, there is no need for providing to the upper part of the cartridge101a system for opening/closing the shutter101a, and thus a space below the tray2can be used effectively, resulting in downsizing of the apparatus.
