ABSTRACT:
This discharge power supply apparatus is for supplying a D.C. voltage to a discharge load6and discharging the same. The discharge power supply apparatus includes an inverter circuit2that converts D.C. voltage to A.C. voltage; a transformer3having a primary winding3ato which the A.C. voltage output by the inverter circuit2is supplied and a secondary winding3b; a full-wave rectifier circuit4that has a plurality of diodes4A to4D and rectifies the A.C. voltage generated by the secondary winding3b; and a trigger capacitor7connected in parallel to a part of the diodes of the full-wave rectifier circuit4.
