ABSTRACT:
A disc sleeve is provided for allowing safe storage of discs and/or information articles. The sleeve may include a disc access opening formed on a wall of the sleeve and an information article access opening along an edge of the sleeve. The sleeve also may include a disc retention joint to allow for secure storage of a disc when the sleeve is turned upside down, shaken, or handled during manufacturing. The sleeve may be designed to include a use verification joint to verify whether the disc has been removed from the sleeve.
