A compound of Formula (1):wherein:A1and A2are each independently optionally substituted phenyl or naphthyl;each Q independently is optionally substituted phenylene;each R1independently is H or optionally substituted alkyl;R2is H or optionally substituted alkyl; andR3is alkyl carrying a sulpho group;provided that the compound of Formula (1) carries at least one carboxylic acid group; and provided the compound of Formula (1) is not of Formula (2):wherein:m is 1 or 2;n is 1 or 2; andx is 2 to 4. Also claimed are compositions and inks.
