ABSTRACT:
A direct positive type silver halide photographic light-sensitive material is disclosed, having improved safelight stability and which is capable of providing an image having excellent photographic properties. The light-sensitive material comprises a support having thereon at least one pre-fogged light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and at least one light-insensitive hydrophilic colloid layer provided farther from the support than the light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer. The light-insensitive hydrophilic colloid layer contains a dye dispersed therein in the form of microcrystalline particles.
