ABSTRACT:
Diphenylpyrrolyfuran derivatives represented by the following formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 may be the same or different and independently represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a lower alkyl group, a lower alkoxy group, a lower alkylthio group, or a lower alkylsulfenyl group; m and n independently represent an integer of from 1 to 3; R.sub.3 represents a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group, R.sub.4 represents a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group, or a lower acyl group; and R.sub.5 represents a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group which may have one or more suitable substituents, a lower alkoxy- or an aryloxy-carbonyl group, an acyl group, or a sufonyl group, and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof are disclosed. The compounds disclosed are useful as anti-inflammatory agent, anti-allergic agents, anti-platelet agents and the like.
