ABSTRACT:
A high temperature grease composition with excellent oxidation stability comprises a major proportion of a lubricating oil, a thickener system which includes a lithium soap of a C.sub.12 to C.sub.24 hydroxy fatty acid and an antioxidant system which comprises an alkali metal salt of hydroxy benzoic acid and a selected dioxime compound.
