ABSTRACT:
The novel diol-phosphonates of the formula: ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 is alkyl with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, R.sub.2 is hydrogen, methyl, or ethyl, and A is --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --, or ##STR2## are useful as flameproofing additives in polyurethane foams.
