ABSTRACT:
Aromatic polyester copolymers are provided consisting essentially of dihydroxy-meta-terphenyl units, and bisphenol A units chemically combined with aromatic diacid units such as isophthaloyl units, terephthaloyl units and mixtures thereof. Polyesters have been found to have a high glass transition temperature and stability up to 475.degree. C.
