ABSTRACT:
In a receiver, immediately after the channel-up key or channel-down key is operated, the receiver1starts a tuning motion of tuning in to a program which is being broadcast by the virtual channel number corresponding to the operation. When the channel-up key or channel-down key is operated, if it is in the middle of tuning in to a channel corresponding to a previous operation, the tuning motion is stopped, and a tuning motion of a program, which is being broadcast by the virtual channel number corresponding to the operation of this time, is started.
