ABSTRACT:
A digital camera includes a first CPU21and a second CPU22. The first CPU21determines an operation of a release button7which instructs to photograph an object, and a photographing request is issued when the release button7is operated. On the other hand, the second CPU22photographs the object by driving a CCD imager1when the photographing request is issued, and stores image data of the object photographed into an SDRAM4in a compressed state. The second CPU22further records into a memory card4compressed image data stored in the SDRAM4predetermined amount by predetermined amount, and determines whether or not the photographing request is issued every time that a recording of the predetermined amount is completed.
