ABSTRACT:
The present invention describes difluororthioacetamide oxazolidinones of formula I:R is —CH2— or —CH2CH2—; R2and R3are independently —H or —F; X is —CH—; Y is —SO—, —SO2—, or —SONR4—; and R4is —H or —C1-4alkyl. These compounds are useful to treat infectives diseases caused by gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.
