ABSTRACT:
Color diffusion transfer products and processes are provided incorporating light-sensitive photographic emulsions comprising silver halide grains having an iodide content of about 0.2 to 1.5 mole percent and a mean volume diameter of about 0.05 to 2 .mu., the grain size distribution thereof exhibiting a coefficient of variatin of less than about 35 percent. Preferably, the iodide content of the halide emulsion is about 0.625 percent, the mean volume diameter is about 0.9 to 1.2 .mu., and the coefficient of variation is less than 30 percent. The reamining halides in the grains may be bromide or bromide and chloride. The silver halide emulsions are prepared by single jet techniques.
