The present invention relates generally to a diffractive light modulator using cantilevers. The diffractive light modulator reflects and diffracts incident beams depending on a height difference formed when neighboring cantilevers, which are constructed in such a way that the first ends thereof are supported by one or more support units and the second ends thereof are free, bend (curve) in the same direction or opposite directions.
