A differential gear1for a vehicle comprises a differential case2having a pair of holes9R,9L for drive shafts, a pair of pinion gears3, 4supported by pinion gear supporters10, 11and a pair of side gears5R,5L engaging with the pinion gears3, 4. A pair of thrust washers6R,6L is interposed between the backs of the side gears5R,5L and the inner peripheries of the holes9R,9L without radial movement.
