ABSTRACT:
A differential drive having a drivable differential carrier11which is rotatably supported in a drive housing, which comprises a longitudinal carrier axis, in which two axle shaft gears28, 29whose axes extend co-axially relative to the longitudinal carrier axis are arranged and rotatably supported and in which a plurality of differential gears31whose axes extend radially relative to the longitudinal carrier axis are arranged and held so as to rotate with said differential carrier11, wherein the axle shaft gears28, 29engage the differential gears31; and having constant velocity joints22, 23which are positioned inside the differential carrier11and whose outer joint parts26, 27are connected to the axle shaft gears28, 29in a rotationally fast way, wherein, between the axle shaft gears28, 29in the differential carrier11, there is arranged a spider member30which comprises a hub32whose axis extends co-axially relative to the carrier axis and which is provided with at least three bearing journals33which project radially from the hub32and on which the differential gears31are rotatably supported, wherein, in the differential carrier11in a cylindrical inner face there are provided wide longitudinal grooves which partially receive the differential gears31.
